May 14 marks 83 years of remarkable actress Zinaida Charcot.
Despite her “non-carcinogenic” appearance, Zinaida Charcot was not offended by the roles. She starred until old age. Everyone remembered how, at the beginning of this century, she superbly played the cleaning lady Baba Dusya in the TV series “Gangster Petersburg”. Charcot also played Plyuganovsky's mother in “The Mechanical Suite”, Nastasya Ivanovna Koldybaeva in “Theatrical Novel”. And for the role of Vera Andreevna in the film “The Garden was Full of the Moon”, Zinaida Maksimovna was awarded the prestigious Nika Prize.
